The SageNet Cybersecurity teams is a managed security services provider (MSSP) with a core focus on providing businesses with 24/7 security event monitoring. In this position, the Linux Admin will focus on building architecture to support new clients, designing automation processes to deploy security tools and servers, and will assist in managing client infrastructure. This person will work closely with the team's security engineers to help design and enrich the infrastructure and applications that support the security monitoring environments for customers. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-motivated, a quick learner, and willing to develop new skills, while constantly improving existing abilities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support server and system infrastructure to support managed security servicesManage Linux servers to provide maximum uptime and availabilityImplement and oversee system monitoring and automation tools designed to monitor and report on cloud-based systems to support 24x7 managed servicesBuild and enhance processes for system updates and patchingUse ansible to build automation for support of security services and systemsParticipate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours supportOther tasks to support cybersecurity engineering needsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience3
