The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County (DAP) works to prevent domestic violence and empower victims to move towards self-sufficiency.
Purpose:
The Grants Manager reports directly to the Director of Advancement and supports the mission of DAP by managing the agency's grant portfolio and researching new funding opportunities.
Essential Duties:
Collaborate with Program and Finance staff, as well as Executive Director, to identify agency funding needs Manage a robust grant portfolio and research and identify new sources of grant support, including foundation, corporate, government agencies and other prospects Write and submit grant proposals and follow-up grant reports Track and meet all grant submission deadlines Oversee contract renewals and tracking of process towards the receipt of finalized contract Maintain appropriate records of grants, including mailing lists of funders and partners Attend individual supervision with the Director of Advancement and attend organization-wide staff meetings and trainings Manage administrative processes related to funders, such as login creation and renewal Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Education Knowledge of domestic violence issues Experience in grant research, successful grant solicitation and grant reporting Organized with the ability to plan, implement and manage multiple activities Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively both orally and in writing Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$55,000.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
