Linvilla Orchards is a prominent agritourism farm in Delaware County, and we are currently seeking passionate candidates to join our team! The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people.
We are seeking enthusiastic people who are driven to provide exceptional customer service here at Linvilla Orchards! As a Linvilla Cashier you'll be responsible for cashiering, merchandising and stocking product, and cleaning to keep the everything looking its best.
You'll enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the Linvilla team and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor; providing excellent customer service Efficiently and accurately process customer purchases using a cash register or point-of-sale system Assist with pricing and labeling of products as needed Provide information and assistance to customers regarding farm products, including produce, baked goods, and other market offerings Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team Give feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses Maintain knowledge of current promotions, specials, and events happening at the market Comply with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data Perform general cleaning duties to company standards Other duties as assigned Physical Demands:
Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation Requirements:
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills Reliability, high personal integrity, and a people focused values orientation Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (Weekends required) Minimum two years retail experience preferred Minimum two years cashier experience required Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace Provide prompt and courteous customer service Remain organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner Must be available to work in the fall of 2023 Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
