Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients - Perform medication administration duties, such as counting pills and labeling bottles - Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information - Prepare sterile products, including IV infusions, using aseptic technique - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of pharmacy operations - Knowledge of different medication administration routes, including inhalation and IV infusion - Familiarity with acute care and critical care settings - Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently - Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in patient care Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
