Seeking an Executive Sous Chef Who Can Rally the Troops (Media and Ardmore, PA and Newark, DE)

Our Chefs
Spend time coaching and developing their kitchen staff
Create a positive and fun kitchen environment
Cook almost everything from scratch, while following established recipe and plating procedures
Have the opportunity to create and submit recipes for our features program
Work 5 days per week, with 2 days off; 2-4 shifts a week are working a station
Receive training and coaching to help them succeed and advance
Are dedicated to promoting a safe work environment
Have opportunities for advancement as we continue to open new restaurants (our next opening will be in 2014)

Were looking for:
2-5 years experience in a high volume restaurant (250-450 covers per dinner shift) in a concept similar to ours
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Sous Chef
Ability to cook from scratch in a high volume atmosphere
Experience working in a corporate structure strongly preferred
Ability to hire, train and coach employees
Willingness to commute up to one hour for work or up to thirty miles one way, whichever is greater
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is passionate about producing distinctive, full-flavored handcrafted beers, accompanied by fresh-from-scratch New American cuisine in a comfortable, casual atmosphere. We currently have almost 1,000 employees and 10 restaurants located in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Standardized recipes keep us consistent, but our chefs enjoy fresh from scratch cooking with real ingredients, making mostly everything on site.
