Description   Job Summary:  The Architect of Network and Converged Solutions builds scalable, flexible, and reliable network solutions to solve business needs and acts as a subject matter expert in the field of networking.  Creates and socializes the support model required for the delivery and ongoing support of network solutions. Build innovative converged solutions that provide the agility to deal with new business needs. Principal Duties: Identify, engineer and aid in delivery of network solutions.  Responsible for design, development, implementation, and support of technology solutions that meet business requirements. Provide expertise in routing, switching, wireless, networksecurity, unified communication and unified computing technologies. Serve as a subject matter expert in field of enterprise networking. Design, implement and remediate network solutions to meet information security standards and networksecurity best practices.  Adhere to organizational security standards and industry standard security best practices. Collaborate with the Network Manager to define goals, outline approaches, build consensus and maneuver within constraints to achieve business objectives with network solutions.  Lead or participate in IT and business projects. Drive large size projects enlisting proper technical resources when necessary.  Takes matrix responsibility to lead IT efforts on projects. Manage the development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and support of all network equipment. Manage core networkinfrastructure - switches, routers, VoIP systems, load balancers, wireless and firewalls. Establish and maintain strong working relationships and clear communication channels with field engineers and support teams. Provide leadership and continuous improvement of standards to enable a more customer focused and responsive support model.  Develop production support models designed to enhance response times and maintain high availability of production networkinfrastructure. Anticipate potential problem situations/risks and address with effective responses. Work with internal and external business clients to plan for new systems and system enhancements to address expanding business needs.  Provide project management, technical assistance, and strategic vision for infrastructure services. Translate technical recommendations, designs, implementation and support into business solutions that meet business goals and objectives. Create supporting documentation and diagrams for delivered solutions. Follow procedures for all changes, particularly changes to equipment that is part of PCI-DSS audit scope.  Ensure all solutions follow established release management process. Perform other duties as assigned. Prioritizes work while considering the bigger picture and aligns with organizational objectives and vision.    Minimum Requirements   Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a technical discipline (e.g. engineering) preferred Minimum of eight to ten years of Network Engineering experience. Expert in LAN/WAN design, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Expertise in wireless networking.  Experience with Motorola Solutions and Meraki wireless preferred. Experience with firewall configuration, firewall rules, and management.  Palo Alto firewall experiencepreferred. Technical subject matter expert in the field of networking, with an emphasis on wireless technology, unified communication, and unified computing. Extensive experience configuring, optimizing, and troubleshooting BGP and EIGRP routing protocols. Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure preferred. Experience with load balancer technologies. NetScaler experiencepreferred. CCNA certification required.  Additional certification such as CCNP, CWNP, CCA-Networking, or PCNSE preferred. Minimum of five years administering an enterprise networkinfrastructure with multiple branch locations in diverse geographical regions. Exposure to support ticketing and enterprise infrastructure management platforms.  SolarWinds experiencepreferred. Knowledge of standard support frameworks. (e.g., ITIL) Experience providing technical leadership to large projects. Understanding of compliancy standards.  Experience with PCI-DSS standards preferred. 23601

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
